Ferman is one of the fundamental parameters in the field of art and cultural heritage, both in terms of methodology and theory. When historical and technical developments are examined, it is seen that this concept not only provides a theoretical framework, but also plays a decisive role in the concretization of laboratory and archival practices. Research conducted within the framework of historical processes and diplomatic influences of the period makes it necessary to discuss the process from the collection of knowledge to its validation within the framework of open standards.
